MGL Finance just concluded the celebration of the much-awaited Financial Analyst Week in our Gurgaon office premises. The management’s Initiative to salute and acknowledge the relentless effort of our hard-working analysts aimed at rejuvenating each one of us, and come up with a newer, more enriched side of our personality. A celebration that spanned an entire week, from 11th August to 14th August, met a heart-warming response, through out the CDI team and also captured the zeal and enthusiasm of our other employees in various departments.

Amidst much mystery and fanfare, The HR department, under the guidance of Mrs. Monica Kumar announced a Celebration fete' for our CDI team Analysts from Monday to Thursday of last week. It was a platform on which all analysts were encouraged to come up and have a great time, without having to compromise on their workload and its quality. The very same day a running contest for the Best creative Slogan (based on CDI team) and Best Hand-made Sketch was opened wherein each FA could pin up his/her creation.

The first day of the FA week, Monday, had loads of fun to offer, it was the right opening ceremony to a week full of fun ‘n’ frolic. All the Analysts were asked to report to work in 'Dashing Red’ Semi-formal Attire that day. And Needles to say, both the CDI floors sparkled with the youthful and exuberant Color RED on Monday, symbolizing the strength of not just the color but their entire team and its Unity. The Second half saw the crowds engrossed in a fun-filled game round of a price-guessing game called ‘TOL MOL KE BOL’. The exercise ended with gleaming faces as they pocketed fancy gifts. Also, 2 lucky analysts were titled MR Best Dressed and Ms Best Dressed.

Day 2 lived up to the standard it set on Day 1. Again, We had the Analysts thronging the floors in color scheme ‘Lovely Blue’. The second half was filled with a colorful round of Fun quizzes, Tongue-twister recitals and dumb charades, and the winning participants went back home with some delicious chocolates. The entertainment brought large smiles on just the winners’ faces, but also the participants. Again, we had a Mr. and Ms Well Dressed.

Day 3 was a vibrant dress code day as it made the FAs turn up in the ever-colorful VIBGYOR Theme. This Day was easily the most explosive show of our week as it gave a new dimension to in-house talent burst. The stage was set in the canteen. We witnessed a stellar performance by Anjan Deb at the guitar .The talent show took us through marvelous 2 hours comprising dances, comedy skits, stand-up Mimicry acts, songs and poem recitation. It was easily the most entertaining and engaging show, just as we saw the shy FAs opening up to us all with their awe-inspiring talents.

The last day of the FA week coincided with our Independence Day Eve. Everybody joined in the patriotism with their Tri-color clothes. There was a special lunch organized for all the employees of MGL Finance followed by a Kite-flying Competition (which could not take place owing to the rains) and the Awards Ceremony presided by Mrs. Ashu Chadha.
