Home l News & Events l CDI happenings Financial Data Analyst of the Month' Awards  Meenakshi Bisht - October' 08.She joined EBW in May 2006, equipped with an MBA (Finance & Marketing) degree. She started her career in EBW at Analyst level handling data enrichment. Within a short span of 6 months, she was at Admin level, taking care of entity verification and validation. Owing to her process knowledge and work quality, she was promoted to Audit level in November 2007. Currently, she performs random sample check of the entities from Admins and also prepares weekly summary reports for Admins. In Oct 2008, she was awarded the title "FA of the Month" due to her excellent work performance and dedication. Her core strengths include openness to learn, leadership skills, high team spirit, solution-oriented and target-oriented approach. She was also involved in training the new joinees on process knowledge. During her journey in EBW, she got a chance to learn basic SQL and advanced Excel techniques. Meenakshi believes that the work culture in EBW is really nice and learning on-the-job is encouraged. She got opportunities from time to time to showcase her potential and grow in her career. Nabendu Das - June' 08His outstanding performance and commitment has earned him this coveted recognition. Nabendu Das has around 2.5 years of experience in Reference Data Management, Corporate Action, and Analysis of Financial Documents. He started his career in 2006 with Hemscott India Private Limited as a Financial Analyst. He holds a Professional degree in Business Management (PGDBM) from NIILM school of Business. Currently, he is working on a project for a US-based client. The project involves Data Cleaning; Data Verification; Data Validation and Data Enrichment. Basically, he looks after the escalations at SME level. He has been awarded the title of "FA of the month" for June 2008 for his extra-ordinary performance and disciplined approach. His core strengths include excellent communication skills, thinking cap, discipline, excellent team player and hard work. Pawan Dhingra - May' 08Pawan Dhingra finished his M.Com in 2002 and worked as a Lecturer in Commerce for 1.5 years. He worked as a Stock Analyst with a prestigious broking house "The Strategist" for 2.5 yrs. In Feb 2006, he joined CreditDimensions as a Financial Analyst. Considering his excellent work performance and process knowledge, he was sent to US for a prestigious client as an onshore SME (Subject Matter Expert) in 2007. He was promoted to Senior FA position in Jun 2007. Currently, he is independently handling Service Request management (Single SRs), client interaction, report generation for clients, data consistency, data duplication check, query resolution and training new joinees. His core strengths include excellent communication skills, team management, and hard work. This year 2008 proved to be a really lucky year for Pawan's personal life as he recently got married. Biswendu Das - April' 08Biswendu Das started his career in Feb 2006 with London-based Hemscott India Pvt. Ltd. where he took care of Corporate Action tracking on daily basis. He joined the CreditDimensions fraternity in the capacity of an FA in Aug 2006, equipped with PGDBM (Finance). Initially, he was involved in the Reference Data management and research. Within five months of joining, he was promoted to the Admin level due to his excellent performance track record. As an Admin, he used to take care of entity validation and resolving the queries of FAs. In May 2007, he was promoted to QA level and since then he has been involved in bulk service request management; data accuracy and quality check as per SLAs. Currently, he is handling a team of 18 FAs. Biswendu has an excellent grasp of the project and the domain knowledge, which has helped him achieve fast and steady career growth in CreditDimensions. According to his seniors, "He has a complete vision of the project and is self-motivated and sincere. He is a hard-worker and meets deadline in time. He is creative in his approach and knows exactly how to get work done through his team. " He has recently completed Level1 of OCA through which he has acquired working knowledge of Oracle and PL/SQL. Amit Verma - March' 2008Amit Verma holds both B.Com and MCA degrees that are being utilized simultaneously in his current profile in CreditDimensions. He started his career with an IT company as an Oracle D2K developer. After a year in Oracle D2K development, he joined CreditDimensions fraternity in Jan 2006 in the capacity of a Financial Analyst. Due to his good technical knowledge, the management decided to involve him in technology-related tasks also. He has now matured as a Database expert and is currently taking care of Database support - data extracts, report generation as well as process client requests on daily basis; work allocation to FAs; and query resolution. His core strengths are strong leadership and organizational skills; comprehensive problem-solving abilities. The most important strength is that he acts as a link between technical and non-technical professionals because of his domain knowledge, process knowledge and also technical knowledge. Nitin Verma - February' 08.Nitin Verma joined CreditDimensions in Sep 2006, bringing with him a year's experience in stocks and portfolio management. He holds MBA (Finance) degree that provided him perfect knowledge being utilized in his current role as SME. His current responsibilities include entity validation on a random basis and client interaction. He joined ebw as an FA; was promoted to Admin position in a short time and recently promoted to SME position. He is currently leading a module for a data verification project being undertaken for an investment bank. He has an excellent process knowledge and also knowledge of the regulatory bodies of US, UK and Canada. His core strengths are excellent communication skills; successful and meaningful client interaction; commitment towards work and determination. Vikram Yadav - January' 08Vikram Yadav joined CreditDimensions in Feb 2006 as a Financial Analyst, equipped with an MBA (Finance) degree. Initially, he worked for a risk management project during which he was involved in preparing hierarchy trees of companies. He was promoted to Admin position in the beginning of 2007. Currently, he is working as a QA and is taking care of corporate action tracking; query resolution; database updation; report generation for clients and is leading a team of 4 members. Owing to his eagerness to learn new technologies, he has learnt basic SQL in past couple of months. His core strengths include leadership skills, quick learning and pro-active approach. His excellent work performance and active support to the Team Lead during a project for a prestigious bank, won him the title "FA of the Month" in Jan 2008. Deepika Aneja - December' 07After completing MBA (International Business) in Jun 2005, Deepika joined Indiabulls Securities Ltd. in Jul 2005 where she was took care of all back-end operations. She worked there for 1.5 years and then moved to CreditDimensions in Jan 2007 as a Financial Analyst. She was involved with data verification and enhancement initially. In Oct 2007, she was promoted to the position of QA due to her excellent work performance and process knowledge. Currently, she is handling data verification, validation & enhancement; and query resolution. In Dec 2007, she was awarded the title "FA of the Month" owing to over-achievement of targets; work quality; and remarkable dedication to work. Her core strengths include smart and hard work, which is extremely essential to be successful in financial analysis. She is extremely passionate for her work and continuously strives to upgrade her knowledge. In Nov 2007, she attained NCFM (National Certification in Financial Market) in Derivatives. According to Deepika, she got full support and guidance from her seniors in terms of domain and process knowledge, which has really helped in shaping her career in CreditDimensions. She has impressed her seniors due to of her hard work, "never-say-die" attitude, discipline, and excellent communication skills. Very soon his seniors recognized his efforts, as he had delivered Quality work during the 1st phase of the project. Acknowledging his efforts, he was nominated for the category of "Best Financial Analyst" for the Annual Awards '07. Befittingly, he proved the confidence of his seniors by bagging the award for the Best Financial Analyst in Jul' 07. When the Quality Enhancement Team was formulated in Aug' 07, Manav became its 1st member owing to his dedication for Quality and consistent contribution in the success of project. His responsibilities enhanced, which included analyzing the financial data, identifying gaps in the project, reporting the same to the leads along with the efficient solutions to increase data coverage. He was also associated with providing solutions to the Service Request (SR) from Client. Owing to his pro-active approach, efficient work performance and going beyond the call of duty in his role in the Quality Enhancement Team, he was the 1st one to be awarded the title of "Financial Analyst of the Month" in Nov' 07. The management was impressed with his grasp of the project and passion for work and Manav was entrusted the responsibility to assist his Lead with the maintenance of the Process Rules Documents of over 130 countries. This introduced him to a new work environment and broadened his horizons further. The role also included effectively delivering and accommodating the "Change Requests (CR)" from Client. His core strengths are strong analytical bent of mind, solution-providing ability with great sense of responsibility. He believes in giving his best in whatever work he is involved. To quote Manav, "ebusinessware has given me an opportunity to demonstrate my talent and potential and a chance to explore some areas that were earlier unexplored besides getting an opportunity to learn basic SQL and develop familiarity with different European Languages. He got full support and guidance from his seniors, which helped in shaping his career in ebusinessware".
